Former ROH Owner Reached Out To The Young Bucks After All Out Backstage Fight AEW

Former ROH owner Cary Silkin has recalled a conversation he had with Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks after the backstage fight at AEW All Out.

Matt & Nick Jackson are currently serving suspensions following their alleged involvement in a backstage altercation following the September 4 pay-per-view. Kenny Omega and CM Punk were also suspended following the incident.

Speaking with Nick Hausman of Wrestling Inc, Cary Silkin noted that he hasn’t spoken with The Young Bucks since asking if they were alright a few days after the altercation. Silkin said:

“Nobody knows what really happened and I reached out to Nick a couple of days later, just to say, ‘You alright?’ He says, ‘Yeah, I’m alright.’ And I haven’t spoken to him since.

“I’ve got to call these guys, see what the hell’s going on. Listen, you know how life is. Your friendships come and go and they drift.”

Some friendship may be fleeting, but Silkin makes it clear this isn’t the case with Matt and Nick Jackson:

“Matt and Nick, I love those guys, but they got multiple kids, chores. I don’t want to speak for them. They’re doing very well. I’m talking pre- this situation. They’re doing very well but it’s not like they’re living in Beverly Hills.”

Noting that he’s still in the dark about the whole situation, Silkin noted:

“I don’t know nothing. I mean, I literally don’t know anything. You probably know more than me.”

Details recently emerged on scrapped plans for the Young Bucks, which you can read more about right here.
