Mustafa Ali Reacts To Cedric Alexander’s WWE Release

Mustafa Ali has reacted to Cedric Alexander’s WWE release, reminding fans of their history together on 205 Live.

As was previously reported, Alexander was one of several WWE names let go by the company on Friday (February 7).

Numerous fans and wrestlers have reacted to this news, including former WWE star and current TNA Wrestling star Mustafa Ali.

Ali took to Twitter with a throwback photo from their 205 Live rivalry, writing:

heart and soul forever

Ali and Alexander notably faced off at WrestleMania 34 in the finals of a tournament for the vacant WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

This bout was pushed as the battle of the heart and soul of 205 Live, with Mustafa Ali known as the heart of the brand, and Alexander the soul.

The duo also wrestled together as a tag-team.

Mustafa Ali also commented on Alexander’s tweet, during which Alexander wrote:

Thank you for the last 8 1/2 years!

Being a professional wrestler has been a dream of mine since I could form memories and I will continue to do so till the good Lord says otherwise. #SeeYouIn90

Writing the first line of Alexander’s original WWE theme, Ali replied:

In the dark I feel at home
