Cesaro competed at the second-ever NXT UK TakeOver event in August, defeating Ilja Dragunov.
However, this appearance was a one-off, and Cesaro will not be working any more NXT UK matches in the near future.
However, could the former Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Champion be on his way back to NXT in the US?
Last night at the WWE Draft on Friday Night Smackdown, Cesaro was left without a home after being drafted to neither Raw or Smackdown.
While WWE has stated that those who weren’t drafted will be able to choose which main roster brand they appear on, some have speculated that Cesaro could choose NXT.
Following Smackdown, Cesaro took to Twitter to acknowledge that he had in fact not been chosen by either the USA Network or FOX to appear on Raw or Smackdown respectively.
The tweet was then responded to by former SAnitY member Killian Dain who urged Cesaro to come and fight him.
Come fight me

After Tyler Breeze, Killian Dain was one of the first main roster Superstars to make their way back to NXT, and perhaps Cesaro will follow in his footsteps.
Cesaro’s matches with Sami Zayn in the early days of NXT were integral in making the brand feel must-see, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see NXT bring back Cesaro for another stint at Full Sail.
Make sure you stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the latest on Cesaro’s NXT status.
