Chad Gable Scores First Pinfall Victory In Almost Two Years

Despite being incredibly amusing on the mic, Chad Gable had not had a pinfall victory on television since June 2020 until last night.

Last night’s episode of WWE Raw saw Chad Gable and Otis get the pinfall victory over the Street Profits with Gable pinning Angelo Dawkins, scoring his first televised pinfall since being drafted to the Raw brand.

Gable last secured the pinfall for a victory when he was on SmackDown in a match against Mojo Rowley on June 15, 2020 when he was still wrestling under the former “Shorty G” gimmick.

Gable hasn’t however been on a losing streak as he continues to hold the Raw tag team Championship titles along with his Alpha Academy tag partner, Otis.

Finding praise from fans and colleagues alike, Alpha Academy’s current iteration has proven to be a hit, thanks in no small part to the comedy stylings of Chad Gable who continues to integrate hilariously delivered catch-phrases and over-the-top physical comedy into his on-screen work.

RK-Bro has recently won the opportunity to face Alpha Academy with the championships on the line after beating them in a series of ‘academic challenges’ which saw the teams competing in a spelling bee, a scooter race, and finally a quiz bowl to determine the winners.
