Top Champion Names Drew McIntyre As Potential Title Challenger WWE

Seth Rollins hinted that he could have a surprising challenger for his WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank 2023.

With the Visionary winning the new title at the previous premium live event Night of Champions, there has been a lot of speculation about plans for his title defence at the July special.

Speaking on Mark Andrews’ My Love Letter To Wrestling podcast, Rollins noted that he has lots of options for potential opponents.

Noting that he’d love to face Dominik Mysterio, he said:

“I would love to beat the hell out of Dominik Mysterio in front of a rowdy London crowd.

“There’s lots of options on the table, so we’ll see what happens and where it all shakes out, but I think right now the thing I’m most excited for is just to go out there and listen to the fine folks sing my song.

“That’s really what gets me off these days.”

Naming other potential challengers, Rollins said:

“There’s so many people. The Raw roster’s so stacked right now. We’ve got guys like Cody. You’ve got Kevin (Owens), you’ve got Sami (Zayn).

“We’ve got Drew McIntyre on the injured list at the moment right now. You’ve got Bronson Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura, the entire Judgment Day.

“All four of them (Judgment Day members) that are just rocking right now.”

There has been a lot of speculation about McIntyre amid his in-ring hiatus, with some fans predicting that he will leave WWE when his contract expires.
