Champion vs. Champion Match Scheduled For Raw Next Week

Who doesn’t love more Charlotte Flair? That’s a rhetorical question. You don’t have to answer it. Regardless of your answer, you are getting some more Charlotte as she is set to take on Asuka next week on Raw.

The NXT Women’s Champion will take on the Raw Women’s Champion next week. Here is what WWE had to say about the upcoming match on WWE.com:

“There will be a Champion vs. Champion Match next Monday on Raw, as Raw Women’s Champion Asuka battles NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.

The two Superstars are no strangers to each other, as The Queen once brought Asuka’s vaunted undefeated streak to an end at WrestleMania 34. What will happen when these longtime foes write the latest chapter of their rivalry? Find out on Raw, next Monday at 8/7 C on USA!”

This match will come just days before Charlotte is to defend her title. At NXT Takeover: In Your House, she will face Io Shirai and Rhea Ripley in a Triple Threat match.

Charlotte also just faced the SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley on Smackdown. That Champion vs. Champion match ended with Bayley getting her hand raised after Bayley held the ropes to get the pin.
