Another championship match is reportedly planned to take place at WWE Bad Blood 2024 on October 5.
With just under three weeks to go until the return of the Bad Blood Premium Live Event in Atlanta, Georgia, the latest match set to be added to the card has been revealed.
Dave Meltzer has revealed via the Wrestling Observer Daily Update that GUNTHER vs. Sami Zayn for the World Heavyweight Championship is listed internally for Bad Blood.
While this match seemed likely for Bad Blood, fans had questioned whether it would take place given the fact that WWE had already confirmed five other bouts for the event.
Five matches has become the norm for WWE’s b-level PLE’s under Triple H, with only WrestleMania and SummerSlam exceeding that number this year.
The other matches announced for WWE Bad Blood are: Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu, CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre inside Hell in a Cell, Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor and a Nia Jax WWE Women’s Championship defence.
WrestleTalk will provide further updates on the WWE Bad Blood card as/when they become available.
