A championship match has been officially announced for the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 premium live event.
Following this past weekend’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, the card for the 16th annual Money in the Bank PLE is taking shape – with John Cena & Logan Paul vs. Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso being added to the show on Saturday, June 7.
That match, as well as the event’s two titular six-way Money in the Bank ladder matches have seemingly left only a few spaces on the card available, and ahead of tonight’s Monday Night Raw we now now another big match confirmed for the Los Angeles event.
Speaking in a video posted to WWE’s Twitter account, Women’s Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria revealed that a rematch with Becky Lynch has now been made official for Money in the Bank.
Having previously defeated The Man in NXT in late 2023, as well as at WWE Backlash 2025 earlier this month, Valkyria spoke confidently in reaction to the news of their third outing, saying:
“Of course, unbelievable, I guess beating Becky twice wasn’t enough to humble her so apparently we’re gonna do this a third time. Money in the Bank, and I can promise you one thing: the result’s gonna be the same.”
Becky Lynch had attempted to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on last week’s episode of Raw – however, Valkyria prevented this happening – attacking her former mentor and allowing Roxanne Perez to take advantage and claim the spot for herself.
We will continue to provide updates on any further matches announced for Money in the Bank as the show draws closer.
