A new championship match has been announced for WWE Night of Champions.
SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley was drafted to the Raw brand in the 2023 WWE Draft, taking the title with her.
On her first night as part of the Raw roster, Rhea seemingly set up a match with Natalya for the championship.
On tonight’s episode of Raw, Rhea and Dominik Mysterio interrupted a backstage segment with Apollo Crews, where Rhea challenged Natalya to a match at Night of Champions.
The segment also set up a clash between Crews and Dominik for tonight’s show.
Tonight’s show kicked off with a backstage brawl between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar.
