Championship Rematch Confirmed For WWE Crown Jewel

The match that we all saw coming since last week has been confirmed.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live kicked off with the New Day heading to the ring to confront the team that stripped them of their tag team gold, the Bar. Before the scheduled match between Kofi Kingston and the Big Show got underway however, Tom Phillips informed us of an important announcement made by Shane McMahon.

The SmackDown Live Commissioner shared the news that the Tag Team Championships would be put on the line at Crown Jewel, in a rematch pitting the New Day against the Bar.

The Bar of course won the titles off the New Day during SmackDown 1000 last week, thanks in part to an unexplained, yet somehow not entirely unexpected heel turn from Big Show.
