Change Causes ‘Major Blow To Morale’ In WWE

A behind-the-scenes change in WWE has reportedly caused a “major blow to morale” among the company’s employees.

Per the WWE severance policy, employees were to receive a month’s worth of severance pay for every year they worked for the company.

However, that is no longer the case.

As reported by PWInsider, a new policy, effective immediately, means employees will now receive two weeks’ worth of severance pay for every year they spent with the company, as opposed to a month’s worth.

Employees were informed of the change in an internal memo that was sent out today, July 18, 2025.

The change was described as a “TKO policy”.

The report notes that there are also “additional caps” on the policy based on management level, but there are no further specifics beyond that.

This has caused a “major blow to morale” for WWE employees, especially as many of them now not only have tasks and responsibilities for WWE, but also to UFC and PBR under the TKO umbrella.
