A change has been made to an upcoming championship match in WWE following a victory on tonight’s NXT show.
NXT is set to host it’s next premium live event, Vengeance Day, this Saturday, which is set to feature a big NXT Women’s Championship match.
NXT Women’s Champion was set to defend her title against both Bayley and Roxanne Perez on the show, but that match will no longer be a Triple Threat match.
Tonight’s NXT show kicked off with Bayley taking on Cora Jade in a match that had been announced last week.
During the match, Bayley’s old theme song hit, with Roxanne Perez coming out dressed as Bayley’s old Hugger gimmick, distracting Bayley.
The distraction ultimately led to Cora picking up the victory over Bayley, which resulted in NXT General Manager Ava coming to the ring, turning the NXT Women’s Championship match at Vengeance Day into a four-way also involving Cora Jade.
