WWE
A change to an upcoming WWE premium live event has been revealed after a similar change was previously made to a show last month.
NXT recently hosted it’s Halloween Havoc premium live event in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which saw Trick Williams retain the NXT Championship against Ethan Page in the main event.
In the build up to the event however, WWE slightly changed the promotional material for the show, with the NXT logo being changed to the WWE logo, and the event being listed as simply ‘Halloween Havoc’ instead of ‘NXT Halloween Havoc’.
Following Halloween Havoc, NXT has begun the build to it’s final premium live event of the year, the Deadline event on December 7 in Minneapolis.
NXT General Manager Ava announced that qualifying matches for the Iron Survivor Challenges will start on next week’s episode of NXT, and with the event coming up next month, a similar change has been made to the show.
The promotional material and logo for the upcoming Deadline event features the WWE logo rather than the NXT logo, with the event listed as just ‘Deadline’ rather than ‘NXT Deadline’.
Last year’s NXT Deadline event saw Trick Williams and Blair Davenport emerge victorious in the Iron Survivor Challenge matches.
Similar to how the promotional material and logo for Halloween Havoc was changed in the lead-up to the event last month, the upcoming Deadline PLE is officially listed as just 'Deadline' rather than 'NXT Deadline', and the official logo features the WWE logo rather than the NXT… pic.twitter.com/rx3u1DSbcS
