Change To WWE Raw Plans On February 27? WWE

A change was made to a segment from this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw that set up a notable match for WrestleMania 39.

During the February 27 show, Brock Lesnar joined MVP in a VIP Lounge segment to address the WrestleMania challenge issued by Omos.

Lesnar accepted the challenge, before laying out MVP, after the manager accidentally spat his White Lightning drink out onto The Beast.

Interestingly, Omos didn’t appear on the show, despite WWE announcing his WrestleMania match. Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Omos was internally listed for the VIP Lounge segment.

It is currently unclear why Omos missed the event.

Prior to the show, there appeared to be several stars potentially lined up to face Lesnar at the Show of Shows.

The Beast last wrestled at Elimination Chamber, where he lost his match to Bobby Lashley via disqualification.

While many thought that Lesnar and Lashley would’ve had one more match at the April event, it had also been speculated that Lesnar could’ve faced Bray Wyatt, with the eerie competitor previously noting that he had his eye on the Lesnar vs Lashley Elimination Chamber bout.

WrestleMania 39 will be headlined by a WWE Undisputed Universal Championship match, with Roman Reigns set to defend his gold against Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.
