Change To WWE WrestleMania 41 Championship Match WWE

A major update has emerged on a change being made to a championship match at WWE WrestleMania 41 in a month’s time.

Today’s WWE Raw in Brussels, Belgium played host to a contract signing for the Women’s World Championship match at Mania between champion IYO SKY and challenger Bianca Belair.

Belair won the Elimination Chamber on March 1 to earn the title shot, while SKY won the title from Rhea Ripley on the March 3 episode of Raw.

However, there was some interference in that match from Belair, which made it pretty clear that the idea of a three-way with all three women was on the table.

There was a big step in that direction on today’s March 17 Raw during the contract signing segment.

After SKY and Belair both signed the contract without incident, General Manager Adam Pearce thanked them for being professional, but before things were fully wrapped up, Rhea Ripley came out to the ring.

Ripley laid out both Belair and SKY on the table in the ring – specifically powerbombing SKY onto Belair – before adding her signature to the contract that they’d already signed.

Michael Cole doubted that this actually made the change official, but it is basically nailed on at this point that Ripley will be added to the WrestleMania match.
