Change To WWE WrestleMania 41 Match Update WWE

An update has emerged on a potential change to a championship match set for WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

The main event of last week’s March 3 episode of Raw played host to a title change as IYO SKY won the Women’s World Championship from Rhea Ripley after interference from Bianca Belair.

This meant that Belair, who won the Elimination Chamber, would challenge SKY for the title at Mania instead of Ripley.

WWE did later make an official announcement that SKY vs Belair would be the match.

However, it seemed like the way the match finished was a way to actually set up a three-way.

Tonight on Raw, SKY had an in-ring interview with Michael Cole, during which she was showered with “you deserve it” chants by the crowd at Madison Square Garden.

SKY was later joined by Bianca Belair, with the two of them being cut off by Rhea Ripley who stormed to the ring.

Ripley and Belair had a confrontation and got in each other’s faces, clearly making SKY seem like an afterthought.

SKY took umbrage to that, slapping both Belair and Ripley to another big reaction from the crowd.

While not officially announced, it certainly does seem like the direction is for the WrestleMania match to become a three-way.
