Changes To Big WrestleMania 39 Weekend Match

Changes To Big WrestleMania 39 Weekend Match WWE

On tonight’s WWE SmackDown (March 31) there was a change announced for a big WrestleMania 39 weekend match.

Set for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, the massive Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, including some new faces announced just tonight.

Per the graphic displayed on last week’s edition of SmackDown: Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro, Santos Escobar, Mån.sôör, Ma.çé, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, Ashante thee Adonis, Top Dolla, Dexter Lumis, Butch, Ridge Holland, Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Rick Boogs, Elias, Johnny Gargano, Xavier Woods, LA Knight, Bobby Lashley, Karrion Kross, Happy Corbin, Bronson Reed and Madcap Moss.

However on tonight’s show, some new faces appeared on an updated graphic.

An additional row of stars have appeared with the match now also including Otis, Ivar, Angelo Dawkins and Braun Strowman.

To clarify, no-one was removed from the Andre battle royal graphic, just those four names added, so the likes of Bobby Lashley and LA Knight are still in the battle royal.

However, don’t be concerned that their respective partners for the WrestleMania 39 showcase match will be bored tonight as they have a SmackDown match as well.

Announced for the first match of the night, Chad Gable, Erik, Montez Ford and Ricochet are set to put on an extravaganza in a standard four-way match.

There’ll also be a women’s four-way tonight with one half of each team in women’s WrestleMania Showcase match, that being Raquel Rodriguez vs Natalya vs Shayna Baszler vs Sonya Deville.
