Given the way that a number of female “wrestlers” were treated by WWE in the early 2000s; bra and panties matches, Kelly Kelly’s gimmick being a stripper…you get the picture, it’s refreshing to see a female superstar is doing something truly positive with her body.
Every year, sports broadcaster ESPN does a “body edition” where athletes from all forms of professional physical activity strip off to promote body positivity.
WWE Superstar Ronda Rousey famously took part in 2012, and now her fellow superstar and Queen on SmackDown Live Charlotte Flair is taking part this year.
Charlotte took to Twitter and Instagram to make the announcement, and attached a photo of the photoshoot, where you can see her posing in a wrestling ring.
No designer clothes, no makeup, no filters.
Nothing to hide. Everything to be proud of.

The Body Issue has a strict ‘non-graphic’ nudity rule, as aims to promote body confidence.
Also taking part this year are names such as soccer star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, golfing legend Greg Norman, and Seattle Storm’s Breanna Stewart.
Do you think this is a good thing for Charlotte to be doing? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter here.
