Charlotte Flair has broken her silence following her loss to Tiffany Stratton at WWE WrestleMania 41 Night One (April 19).
After a highly personal build between the two stars which at times veered away from WWE’s script, Charlotte Flair fell short in her attempt to win a 15th world title at WrestleMania Saturday, being pinned by Tiffany Stratton at the end of a physical match.
As with many stars coming off a loss on WrestleMania weekend, fans are wondering where Flair’s focus may lie going forward after failing to dethrone Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.
Ahead of this Friday’s SmackDown in Fort Worth, TX, Flair took to Twitter to post her first comments since her WrestleMania 41 loss, writing:
IDK. I’m just going to wrestle.
While Flair’s comments seem to convey a feeling of uncertainty, her father Ric Flair spoke highly regarding his daughter’s performance at The Show of Shows, dubbing the WWE Women’s Championship bout the “match of the night”.
We will provide further information in regards to WWE’s plans for Flair and Stratton post-WrestleMania as updates become available both before and following Friday’s SmackDown.
