Charlotte Flair Comments After Refusing To Team With Rhea Ripley At WWE Survivor Series WarGames WWE

Charlotte Flair has commented after refusing to team with Rhea Ripley in WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2025.

During the opening segment of last night’s SmackDown in Albany, NY, Charlotte Flair admitted to tag team partner Alexa Bliss that she couldn’t team with former rival Rhea Ripley at Survivor Series, whilst “The Eradicator” and IYO SKY were stood in the ring alongside them.

Flair said:

“Lexy I can’t do this. I can’t pretend anymore.

“Look Rhea, I don’t like you. I don’t trust you and I think you’re a snake. But you probably don’t like me, you probably don’t trust me and you probably think I’m a snake and I can’t blame you.

“No, look there’s just too much history here, too much bad blood. And juts because we have the same enemy doesn’t change that. I can’t look past it.

“Look Lexy, you are my friend and I do trust you and if you want to do this I understand but count me out.”

After leaving Ripley, Bliss and SKY high and dry in the ring, Flair took to Twitter, writing: “protect your peace” – seemingly further explaining why she opted not to team with the trio at WarGames.

Later in the night SKY, Ripley and Bliss were jumped backstage by their Survivor Series opponents Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax and Lash Legend and Charlotte was nowhere in sight to help.

Flair and Ripley’s history dates back to 2020 when they competed against each other for the WWE NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36 – match Flair won.

Three years later they faced off again at WrestleMania 39, with Ripley this time securing the win over the veteran, winning the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in the process.
