14-time world champion Charlotte Flair has heaped praise on WWE NXT’s Blake Monroe, Sol Ruca and Zaria.
With over a decade of experience competing on WWE’s main roster, Charlotte Flair is one of the veteran performers in the women’s locker room, with few matching her success since first being called up from NXT in 2015.
Ahead of WrestleMania 42, Flair confirmed she has no intention on hanging her boots up anytime soon, which means that we should see “The Queen” mix it up with the younger stars rising the ranks in WWE.
During an interview with Jeremy Jacobowitz, Flair was asked which talent from NXT she’s most excited in coming up against, to which she answered with three names, two which she already had the chance to compete against last year: Sol Ruca and Zaria, as well as Blake Monroe, who has impressed her first year in WWE since signing from AEW.
Flair said:
“So I’ve had the opportunity to be in the ring with Sol Ruca and Zaria. I think they’re killing it.
“Like you said there’s a lot of women. Blake Monroe, her character I think is spunky and stands out.”

While they’re no longer on good terms, Sol Ruca and Zaria previously had two matches with Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss in 2025; first competing in a WWE Women’s Tag Team Title four-way alongside The Kabuki Warriors and The Judgment Day (Roxanne Perez & Raquel Rodriguez) at Evolution 2025, and later Ruca and Zaria challenged Bliss & Flair for the same titles on the October 17 episode of SmackDown.
Monroe has yet to have a match on the WWE main roster, with the 27-year-old currently aiming to dethrone NXT Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley.
WWE NXT Call-Ups Coming After WrestleMania 42?
Sol Ruca is one of many WWE NXT stars who could potentially be main roster bound after WrestleMania 42.
While Ruca has yet to win the NXT Women’s Championship, it has been evident that WWE see big things in the 26-year-old’s future.
Whether it be her third place finish in the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble, or her impressive win over Bayley at John Cena’s final WWE show (Saturday Night’s Main Event) on December 13, it seems to be a matter of time before she receives the call to join Raw or SmackDown.
Ruca and Zaria look set to potentially wrap up their feud with a Last Woman Standing Match at NXT Revenge – a two week event that will run on April 14 and 21.
Also competing at NXT Revenge is Jacy Jayne, who challenges Lola Vice for the NXT Women’s Championship, and Ethan Page, who takes on Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Championship.
Page and Jayne are two of NXT’s more tenured stars, and should they lose their matches at NXT Revenge, they too could arrive on Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania 42.
