Charlotte Flair Sends Message To Shotzi Following WWE Departure

Charlotte Flair has sent a message to Shotzi following the confirmation of her WWE departure.

It was confirmed today that Shotzi is departing the company, amid a wave of talent releases across WWE’s main roster and NXT.

However, unlike many of the departing names Shotzi’s exit was reportedly not due to her being released, with WWE instead informing the 33 year old that they would not be renewing her contract.

While Shotzi herself has put out a statement expressing her gratitude for her time in WWE, Charlotte Flair took to social media to send her thanks to her one-time tag team partner.

Posting to Twitter, Flair wrote:

@ShotziWWE thank you for those months on Smackdown & long talks…

Flair and Shotzi teamed together a handful of times during the fall of 2023, with both competing on the same side in the women’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series 2023.

At the time of writing 17 stars have departed WWE since yesterday (May 2) – for a full list of these names check this link here.

We wish Shotzi and all the names departing WWE all the best in the future and in whatever they do next.
