WWE Raw star Charlotte Flair has explained why she believes she SHOULDN’T be a part of the WWE Queen of the Ring tournament.
WWE hasn’t actually officially announced the tournament yet, but it’s been reported that both a Queen of the Ring and King of the Ring will be held soon with finals taking place in Saudi Arabia on October 21.
Charlotte Flair is already nicknamed ‘The Queen’, and she believes whoever wins the tournament should actually earn the right to face her for that name, instead of being in the actual tournament herself.
Speaking with talkSPORT, Flair said:
“Well I think it’s great because of the opportunities it brings. It allows multiple women to be highlighted, maybe even from NXT and for everyone to get involved. But being that I’m already ‘The Queen’, if it was to happen, I believe whoever wins it has to face me, since I am the Queen of Queens, right?
“I don’t think I should have to be in it, I already have the title. They should get to face me if they win. It won’t be Queen versus Queen, it will be Queen versus whoever won the tournament (laughs). Let’s get something right!”
Flair will be part of a three-way at SummerSlam tomorrow night for the Raw Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley and current champion Nikki ASH.
