Charlotte Flair Turns Heel In Brutal Ronda Rousey Assault

Charlotte Flair told us that she was going to right for Becky Lynch last night at Survivor Series. What she didn’t mention, was that this involved obliterating Ronda Rousey with a kendo stick.

The match prior to the sticky incident was very high quality, with both women worming their way out of several submission holds.

Flair had wriggled out of the ring, and was being pursued by her opponent when she struck, turning heel in the process.

I think I counted about 7,000 kendo stick shots, a natural selection to the face, and then a stamp on the chair while Ronda’s neck was trapped in it.

Charlotte was utterly out of control, attacking the referees before continuing her assault. The attack left Ronda barely able to leave the arena under her own power, and seemingly cements Charlotte as the top heel on SmackDown Live.

The question now is what kind of repercussions now face Flair. On the street this would have led to a lengthy jail sentence, but as it’s in WWE, she’ll probably be suspended for a week so she can think about what she’s done.

It was a truly shocking assault and hopefully this is a return to the best of Charlotte. She is a natural heel, and now WWE have given up on trying to make Becky a heel, this could lead to some even better matches down the line.
