WWE star Charlotte Flair has fired back at Tom Brady, following the NFL legend’s latest shots at pro-wrestling.
Tom Brady previously calling WWE “cute” resulted in a chain reaction which ultimately saw WWE contact Logan Paul to call off plans for legitimate fights against NFL stars.
In new comments made to Sports Illustrated, Tom Brady doubled down, noting that WWE wrestlers wouldn’t even be able to get near him.
He concluded his comments – which you can hear in the video at this link – by saying that if he had a good offensive line, the footballers would punch the wrestlers in the throats and leave them crying, because American football doesn’t have any “fake BS.”
Charlotte Flair re-shared this video on Twitter, highlighting Brady’s last statement.
She shared her post with the caption:
A lot of words to say “if I had five guys to protect me, I might be ok” 🫶🏻
With Brady calling WWE cute on several occasions it has been heavily speculated that he will make an appearance for the company soon, potentially at WrestleMania 42 in April.
If Tom Brady is set to appear for WWE, it will be interesting to see what the company has planned for him, as the NFL legend has solidified himself as a heel in the eyes of fans who have listened to him belittle wrestling in recent weeks.
It is not unheard of for celebrity guests to appear as heels, with Logan Paul initially presented as a bad guy in WWE, ahead of joining the company full-time.
Backstage details have emerged on the actual situation surrounding WWE telling Logan Paul he didn’t have the company’s permission to fight NFL players, click here to read more.
