Chavo Guerrero has taken to social media to once again address being removed from the roster page on the AEW website.
Guerrero debuted with the company in July 2021 as the “executive consultant” to Andrade El Idolo, but only lasted two months in the role before Andrade attacked and fired him, which was a way to write him off TV to go and film Young Rock.
It emerged yesterday that All Elite Wrestling has removed Chavo Guerrero from its roster page. Chavo took to Twitter to address this being a surprise to him, calling out Khan in a now-deleted tweet, writing:
“That’s news to me! I guess having @TonyKhan telling me to go film Young Rock Season 2, & my job will be waiting for me when I’m done, didn’t mean much.”
Guerrero deleted that tweet, but has since addressed the situation once again.
This time leaving out the Tony Khan call-out, Guerrero tweeted today:
News to me. ♂️
It’s worth mentioning that there has been no official confirmation of Guerrero’s AEW status, and it’s always possible that his removal from the roster page was a mistake or miscommunication. However, it does come at a time when numerous AEW contracts are coming up.
Whatever the situation, it seems like Guerrero is just as in the dark as we are. We’ll keep you posted with any further updates.
