Tony Khan has confirmed that Chavo Guerrero will make an appearance during tonight’s ROH Supercard of Honor event.
During the anticipated show, Jonathan Gresham and Bandido will do battle to determine the Undisputed ROH World Champion.
Bandido was unable to defend his title at Final Battle in December, and Gresham won the ROH Original World Title in the luchador’s absence.
Tony Khan has stated that Chavo Guerrero will serve as Bandido’s manager, sharing a video of Guerrero stating that he’ll be in Bandido’s corner on Friday night.
Khan captioned the video:
ROH World Champion @TheJonGresham battles lineal ROH Champion @bandidowrestler tomorrow at Supercard for the undisputed crown; given the disrespect Bandido felt when ROH crowned a new champ in his absence, he’s hired a new manager to watch his back: Chavo Guerrero Jr @mexwarrior!
Last month, Khan stated that he owed Guerrero a call, after the wrestling veteran stated that he was unaware that his name had been removed from the AEW roster page.
Guerrero hadn’t appeared on AEW TV since September 2021, when his partnership with Andrade was ended in after he was attacked by El Idolo. This angle was to write Guerrero off TV to go and film Young Rock.
