Chelsea Green Admits She May Have Annoyed People Backstage In WWE

Chelsea Green has admitted she may have annoyed people backstage in WWE with her constant pitches and efforts to get booked.

Since her WWE release, Green has publicly revealed some of those pitches she made, which has led to a lot of criticism from people who thought they were way too outlandish, but when you’ve not been used for so many months on end, it’s only natural to try and be creative, so a lot of the criticism is unwarranted.

But anyway, speaking on Busted Open about her release, Green did say she could easily see why people backstage would potentially get annoyed at her pitching so many different ideas and the possibility that may have contributed to her being released. She explained:

“Yes, absolutely. I absolutely think that (pitching so many ideas may have rubbed some people the wrong way). But then, that’s not the type of person that I am. When I did have my meeting with Vince (McMahon), he was very appreciative of all the ideas. So I have to think that he’s okay with the ideas – it’s the maze that you have to get through to get to him. Those are all the people that are annoyed along the way, and I don’t blame them. Imagine how many people are in that company, and I’m one of 200 people on the main roster spit balling ideas to them weekly. I probably gave them three ideas a week. That’s going to be annoying.”

During the same interview, Chelsea Green said her biggest frustration about not being used is that it came at a time that she was at the top of her game before joining WWE, but then never got a chance to show what she’s capable of while she was there.

Since being let go by WWE, Green has already worked with IMPACT, ROH and the NWA, as well as plenty of other external projects, such as being on the cover of Fitness Girls Magazine.
