It has been reported that former WWE talent Chelsea Green has had talks about working with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA).
Since being released by WWE in April, Green has appeared for Ring of Honor, IMPACT, and is set to compete at NWA EmPowerrr on August 28.
As per Fightful Select (subscription required), Green has been in talks with AAA. It was noted that the resurgence of the pandemic seemed to slow down any type of agreement.
The report also stated that Green has still not signed a deal with any promotions, but each company she is working with knows she’s pursuing work with other promotions.
At Triplemania XXIX last night (August 14), IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo won the AAA Reina De Reinas Title.
Kenny Omega also successfully defended his AAA Mega Championship against Andrade El Idolo, who had WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair in his corner.
