Chelsea Green has reacted to her husband Matt Cardona’s WWE return on last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown.
Matt Cardona had made a number of appearances on NXT television last year as part of the ongoing partnership between NXT and TNA, as well as appearing in John Cena’s Last Time Is Now Tournament under his Zack Ryder name in a loss to LA Knight.
However, Cardona made his official return to the company on last night’s episode of SmackDown, where he was officially announced as a member of the SmackDown roster, defeating Kit Wilson.
Cardona is the real-life husband of fellow SmackDown star Chelsea Green, who has now shared her reaction to Cardona’s return on last night’s SmackDown.
Sharing a photo of the pair together, she simply wrote:
He’s home 🖤 @WWE
Chelsea Green was also in action on last night’s episode of SmackDown, where she defended her Women’s United States Championship against Giulia, with Giulia defeating Chelsea to capture the title for the second time in her career after Chelsea won the title from Giulia back in November.
