Chelsea Green Scrapped WrestleMania 41 Pitches Revealed

Scrapped pitches for WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green at WrestleMania 41 have now been revealed, ahead of this weekend’s shows.

As was recently pointed out by her husband and former WWE star Matt Cardona, Green doesn’t have a match announced for the April 19-20 two-night WrestleMania event.

With many fans calling for Green to be added to the card, backstage details have emerged on ideas discussed by WWE to feature Green on the Grandest Stage of them All.

Per Fightful Select, numerous pitches were made for Green to hold a US Championship Open Challenge.

Two names pitched for this open challenge were Alexa Bliss and Nikki Bella.

Green wasn’t planned for WrestleMania 41 as of earlier this week, and Fightful hadn’t heard of any plans adjusting for Green at the time of writing.

Alexa Bliss – who made her WWE return at Royal Rumble after two years away – hasn’t wrestled since competing in the Women’s World Championship #1 contender’s Elimination Chamber match on March 1.

Green has been pushing for a match against Nikki Bella for some time now, with the Women’s US Champion noting in March that her ideal WrestleMania match would be a Green vs Bella Hair vs Hair match.

WWE’s Natalya recently revealed that she has been giving Nikki Bella private training sessions at her Dungeon wrestling facility.
