Chelsea Green has addressed the ‘chaotic’ ending to a recent match that saw her retain the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
The December 23 episode of NXT saw Green successfully defend her championship against Sol Ruca.
With Moose targeting Green’s associate, Ethan Page, the NXT North American Champion has set his sights on the TNA Wrestling star.
Meanwhile, Green has addressed the end of her match, which saw Page attacked by Moose and Alba Fyre come to the aid of her main roster co-star.
The official WWE Twitter account noted the end of the match, sharing footage of Page saving Green from a pinfall attempt, the appearance of Moose, and Fyre preventing a Sol Snatcher, tweeting:
“What a chaotic ending! 😱
“@ImChelseaGreen survives to remain the Women’s United States Champion!!”
Green has taken issue with the term ‘chaotic’, opting to reframe what transpired as a display of loyalty, responding:
“Nothing chaotic about loyalty. You wouldn’t understand.”
Alongside Ethan Page, Chelsea Green is also one-half of the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion, having defeated La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana at Allianza in November of this year.
Nothing chaotic about loyalty. You wouldn’t understand. https://t.co/vUw8DzPUmZ
