Matt Cardona has reacted to Chelsea Green winning the WWE Women’s US Championship, sharing a heartfelt message.

Chelsea Green made WWE history on the November 7 edition of SmackDown, defeating Giulia to become the first star to hold the Women’s US Title on two separate occasions.

Green’s husband Matt Cardona has now taken to Twitter to praise his wife, highlighting her perseverance.

Noting that she’ll hate that he used his catchphrase in this congratulatory message, Cardona wrote:

When wrestlers ask me for advice, I say don’t quit…that’s it. You might make it if you don’t. You definitely won’t make it if you do.

Chelsea Green is proof of that.
