Chelsea Green Addresses Not Having A Match At WWE WrestleMania 41 WWE

Now-former WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green has addressed not competing at WrestleMania 41 on April 19-20.

Despite being the first holder of the Women’s US Championship, Green ultimately didn’t have a match at this year’s Show of Shows.

Speaking with Adrian Hernandez, Green noted that while she did feel the women’s US and Intercontinental titles needed to be on this year’s card, she is really proud of the women who did represent their division at WrestleMania 41.

Green noted:

“At the end of the day, of course, after a crazy year, the pinnacle is WrestleMania, so I felt the want and need for these (women’s Intercontinental and US) titles to be on the show.

“I wanted them to be on the show, but at the end of the day we only have so many hours and so many spots on the card.

“The women who were on the show did an amazing job at representing all of us. Although I’m upset and I wish I could have been on it, I’m really proud of the girls.”
