Chris Benoit’s Son David Benoit Wants To Join AEW

David Benoit – the son of Chris Benoit – revealed in a recent interview on Fred Rosser’s (FKA Darren Young) Pro & Bro Wrestling Podcast that he wants to join AEW.

When asked if he’d been training recently, David revealed:

“I’m just messing around in the ring right now with a couple of guys from AEW.”

Benoit was then asked where he’d like to wrestle, and the response was very much AEW:

“I want to go to AEW one hundred percent.

“I love AEW. I love what they do for the boys. Take care of them.”

He also revealed a close relationship with current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, and says he was present for both Double or Nothing and All Out.

Interestingly, Benoit would go on to say that WWE has banned him from being backstage at shows. In fact, the last time he attended one back in March, he wore an AEW jacket.
