Chris Jericho appeared on the Jim Norton and Sam Roberts Show earlier this week, and opened up about his relationship with WWE and Vince McMahon after signing with AEW.
The record nine-time WWE Intercontinental Champion said:
“I’ve talked with him [Vince] a couple of times.
“But I’m kind of public enemy number one there now.
“I’ve been kind of removed from the annals of history [in WWE].”
Y2J also revealed that WWE is preventing him from having WWE talent on his podcast:
“I asked the other day if I could have a couple of their guys on my podcast to promote [WrestleMania 35] and I was told: ‘No, it’s not appropriate because you’re in AEW.’
“I am banned from WWE.”
He also went into further details as to the extent WWE has tried to wipe him from their content, including going as far as Xavier Woods’ UpUpDownDown gaming YouTube channel:
“I know that they had to take some videos down from UpUpDownDown of me playing.
“They edited some stuff from The Edge & Christian Show that had my name on it [as well].”
They’re not petty, though.
