So, does Ric Flair hate Chris Jericho, or is he trying to set up Jericho as his opponent for his last ever match later this year?
What we do know for sure is that during last night’s (July 13) episode of AEW Dynamite, Ric Flair buried Jericho is a furious tweet, in which he labelled Jericho a “Ric Flair never will be”. Well actually he called him a “Ric Flair Never Will Be” because he capitalises every word for some reason.
Here’s the tweet:
Living Legend In Your Own Mind. Shawn Michaels Wanna Be. Ric Flair Never Will Be. WOOOOO!
Where Did You Buy That Cheap Suit? Obviously Not From @GentsPlaybook pic.twitter.com/6M2UNLWtSR— Ric Flair® (@RicFlairNatrBoy) July 14, 2022
The tweet came off the back of Chris Jericho calling himself a living legend, which in a sense he probably is, at least within the deeply strange world of pro-wrestling.
Ric Flair is yet to announce an opponent for his final match, which is set for Starrcast on July 31, but this could be a tease for that if you’re into that kind of conspiracy theory.
