Chris Jericho Changing Iconic AEW Theme Song? AEW

Former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho has teased that he’s changing his iconic AEW entrance theme.

Since AEW’s inaugural event, Jericho has used Fozzy’s ‘Judas’ as his walk-out theme. Fans quickly grew to love the theme, often singing over the top of the track, and on the August 18, 2021 edition of Dynamite, singing his theme acapella to spite MJF.

On Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite, Ortiz caught Jericho off-guard, cutting off a lock of the inaugural AEW World Champion’s hair. The segment ended with Jericho agreeing to a hair vs hair match.

During the commercial break, Jericho addressed the live crowd, who were happy to see the star briefly get his comeuppance. The FITE stream of Dynamite still had audio, so fans watching on the platform heard Jericho tell the crowd that he’ll make sure they’ll never get to sing Judas ever again.

Jericho also accepted a Blood & Guts challenge issued by William Regal and Eddie Kingston, on behalf of his Jericho Appreciation Society. Jon Moxley later confirmed that he will be wrestling during the bout, which is slated for the June 29 edition of Dynamite.
