Chris Jericho found himself in a bit of an unusual situation yesterday. Normally the AEW Champion is almost universally popular, but many fans took issue when he was photographed alongside Donald Trump Jr.
The son of the President tweeted to announce that he had done an interview with Jericho for the Talk is Jericho podcast.

As you can imagine, this didn’t go down very well with a lot of people given the current political landscape in America and many people’s opinion of Trump Jr’s father.
Plenty said they wouldn’t be listening, and some even went as far as saying they had lost respect for Jericho for doing the interview in the first place.
Jericho has now responded in a short tweet, explaining that he is non-partisan.

For anyone wondering, he’s basically saying that he has no political bias towards any group.
It certainly is an interesting choice for Jericho on what is largely a wrestling based podcast, but it will certainly drum up a lot of mainstream interest.
