Chris Jericho Defends Jim Ross Following ‘WWE Dynamite’ Botch

Chris Jericho has defended Jim Ross after he accidentally said called AEW Dynamite “WWE Dynamite” to close Wednesday’s show.

Following a video package recapping AEW’s pandemic era, accidentally called the show “WWE Dynamite”. According to Chris Jericho, Ross is still the greatest commentator of all time.

Responding to Ross’ critics, Jericho tweeted:

“Pointing out small mistakes or no small mistakes, @JRsBBQ is the GREATEST wrestling commentator of all time.”

Jericho was on commentary for the last episode of Dynamite before AEW returns to touring on July 7. Following the show, The Young Bucks took to Twitter to troll Ross with a new bio.

A portion of the fanbase questioned whether Ross should still lead commentary for AEW after recent blunders. Ross has since commented on the botch, revealing that he has no plans to leave the announcers desk.

Next week, Andrade El Idolo will make his AEW in-ring debut during the Road Rager special. Check out the full card for AEW Road Rager here.
