AEW
The latest update has emerged on the potential of Chris Jericho leaving AEW and making a return to WWE soon.
The expectation for months now has been that Jericho’s AEW contract expires at the end of this year, at which point he’ll leave the promotion and return to WWE.
Today, Tony Khan was asked about Jericho’s status on the Ariel Helwani Show, and while he didn’t confirm anything, he said the door is always open for Jericho to return to AEW.
Khan said:
“I can’t speak to that, but I love having Chris in AEW and he’s always welcome.
The door’s always open for Chris to come in
“I hope so. I absolutely hope we’ll get Chris back in.”

Khan had high praise for Chris Jericho as one of the top stars in the history of AEW.
He also noted that Jericho was originally brought in with the idea to work around Fozzy tour dates but he ended up being a full-time member of the roster.
