The real reason why a major star missed AEW Dynamite has been revealed
AEW Dynamite on November 30 was a packed episode that saw the return of Adam Page, and a huge MJF promo which culminated in him pulling the old switcheroo on William Regal.
Jerichoholics may have wondered why Chris Jericho was missing from Dynamite.
The Ocho’s last match was during the November 23 edition of AEW Dynamite where he defeated two-time Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion, six time NEVER Openweight Champion and former ROH TV Champion Tomohiro Ishii.
Chris Jericho later admitted that the match-up was a ‘challenge.’
The Ring of Honor Champion missed AEW Dynamite this week because he is currently on tour with Fozzy in Australia.
Instead of entertaining the AEW crowd in Indiana on November 30, Jericho was performing at a sold-out show in Brisbane, Australia.
Fozzy’s Australian tour continues with stops at Melbourne on December 2; Sydney on December 3 and Adelaide on December 4.
If the jet lag doesn’t get to him, Jericho could make it back to Dynamite next Wednesday, December 7.
The confirmed card for AEW Dynamite on December 7 so far:
Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale
Tony Schiavone interviews Jamie Hayter
Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta vs ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia and Jake Hager
Chris Jericho has challenged Claudio Castagnoli to one more match for the Ring of Honor Championship.
If Castagnoli loses, he will have to join the Jericho Appreciation Society. The match will take place at ROH Final Battle on December 10.
