Chris Jericho Responds To Fan Who Calls Him “COVID God”

Chris Jericho was part of a Fozzy Concert over the weekend that has received a lot of criticism for images that have revealed questionable enforcement of social distancing best practices.

Fozzy played a concert at Sturgis. The concert had testing procedures in place, but from the images, it looks like concert-goers didn’t adhere to those policies once the concert started.

For everyone at the show, you just have to hope everyone was healthy and no one contracted Coronavirus. Well, one fan seems to think the opposite.

He responded to a tweet of Jericho where he called himself the Demo God with a not so lovely response. While it was intended to be a joke, Jericho didn’t take too long to respond.

The good news is Jericho did test negative prior to going to the AEW taping the last two days as he confirmed in his response. However, it can take up to two weeks for the symptoms to appear after exposure and several folks have tested positive after previously testing negative.

Let’s just hope for AEW’s and Jericho’s sake he continues to test negative. AEW allowed fans at last night’s show. While those fans were connected to people who work for AEW or the arena, AEW did take precautions to keep people safe.

Considering the situation, AEW seems to be handling things with care and caution, but there are still dangers to being around large crowds. Wrestling has been a nice option to turn to for entertainment, but it’s not worth a massive risk for someone’s health.
