Chris Jericho Reveals Which Member Of JAS He Says Saved His Life AEW

On this week’s episode of Talk is Jericho, Chris Jericho shares which member of Jericho Appreciation Society saved his life in Abu Dhabi.

Describing a situation in a club where a guy was yelling and screaming and per Jericho, “being an a*****e,” therefore he hip checked him.

Unfortunately for Jericho, several hours later when leaving the club, he ran into the same man with a group of his friends, waiting for them.

Jericho explained how using pro wrestling logic, Hager saved his life, saying:

“He goes ‘My dad owns 27% of this company,” Jericho recalled. “And I’m putting a bounty on your head. In the next 24 hours, you are going to be killed and I’m gonna pay them $7 million.’”

“I remember Jake going, ‘Don’t do it man. This is the wild west. They will kill you here. They’ll f*cking string you up, they’ll hang you.’ The only reason I didn’t take a wild swing with my stupid key was because Jake told me not to … If had not told me not to fight this guy, I would have [fought] him, and who knows what would have happened, so therefore, in pro wrestling logic, Jake Hager saved my life!”

Amongst other shared crazy stories between Hager and Jericho, Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing where they had one of the most entertaining matches in the history of the company.

The insane ‘Anarchy in the Arena’ match at AEW Double or Nothing saw Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz team up take on Chris Jericho and his Jericho Appreciation Society members Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker and Jake Hager, a re-match of sorts.

JAS emerged as the victorious team at Double or Nothing but you can see all of the win/loss records for the AEW roster here.
