SmackDown 1000 was full to the brim with cameo appearances, but one notable name that was left out of the celebrations was Chris Jericho.
Jericho is reportedly not in WWE’s best books at the moment, what with his unannounced appearance at All In, and the fact that he is IWGP Intercontinental Champion.
Neither of those things will have helped his cause if he ever wants to make a return to the land of Vince McMahon, and it seems like he wasn’t top of the guest list for SmackDown 1000 either.
Responding to a fan on Twitter who said said he wished Chris had been on SmackDown 1000, Jericho simply said:

Earlier this year, Jericho appeared on the Raw 25 celebration show, despite only a few weeks prior wrestling Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom.
So, does his lack of invite to SmackDown 1000 illustrate just how much relations have soured between WWE and Y2J?
Jericho responded to a fan question regarding his possible participation in the WWE World Cup last week by saying “No thanks”.
Will he ever make a return?
