Chris Jericho Says Recent AEW Spot Was One Of The Most Terrifying Moments Of His Career AEW

AEW star Chris Jericho has admitted that a spot from Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match was one of the most terrifying moments of his entire career.

During Dynamite: Blood & Guts, the Jericho Appreciation Society battled the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz. Towards the end of the bout, Claudio Castagnoli forced Jericho to endure his signature swing… on top of the cage!

Many fans felt this spot was the scariest of the entire match. Chris Jericho has now taken to Instagram to share a clip of the ‘insane’ spot, writing:

“Insane doesn’t even come close to summing this up….. by far One of the most TERRIFYING moments of my entire career!! Even though the result wasn’t what I was hoping for, #BloodAndGuts was a WAR for the ages and completely crazy!

“More importantly it resulted in #AEWDynamite being the NUMBER ONE show on cable tv last night! Thanks to everybody who watched 12 gladiators kick the crap out of each other for an hour… @allelitewrestling @claudiocsro #JerichoAppreciationSociety”

The bout ended after Matt Menard tapped out to Claudio’s sharpshooter, while Eddie Kingston had Chris Jericho trapped in a submission hold of his own. Claudio is currently undefeated in AEW with two wins to his name, defeating Zack Sabre Jr during his AEW debut at Forbidden Door.
