Chris Jericho Shares Gruesome Photo After AEW Dynamite AEW

There was blood in the water on tonight’s Shark Week themed edition of AEW Dynamite as Chris Jericho brought the Painmaker back to AEW.

While the Painmaker may have returned on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, by the end Chris Jericho was clearly feeling the pain as the show went off after he was tossed into a “barbed wire spiderweb” by Eddie Kingston.

While Chris Jericho was the legal winner of the match, gaining the pinfall victory over Kingston with more than a little help from his Jericho Appreciation Society pals, you wouldn’t know it by the look of him after the show!

Hopping on Twitter post-show to show the progress of his wounds, Jericho wrote:

“BLOOD WILL FOLLOW BLOOD!!! #ThePainmaker always wins….deal with it! @AEW #BarbwireEverywhere

After the somewhat controversial finish which is already being hotly debated online, it is unclear if this feud has been put to bed or not as while Eddie succeeded in making Jericho bleed, he did not pick up the victory in the match.

While Jericho was showing off his wounds, fellow JAS member Daniel Garcia was welcoming Anna Jay to the Jericho Appreciation Society squad on Twitter, writing “Welcome to the team ?” with Anna Jay responding, “Thanks new bestie.”

In case you missed any of the action, AEW Dynamite was Shark Week themed, a former NXT 2.0 star stopped sleeping with the fishes and started swimming with the sharks! Brody King bested Darby Allin and then the House of Black ran amok, FTR cut an emotional promo and now we all want to fight like a little girl and the new AEW Tag Team Champions, Swerve in our Glory held a Championship celebration.
