One of the reasons that Chris Jericho is so highly regarded by wrestling fans and critics alike is due to his ability to adapt and evolve his character. Throughout his career in not only WWE, but also WCW and most recently NJPW, the former WWE Champion have comfortably evolved and adapted his character to whatever the storyline at the time requires.
However, it appears that Chris Jericho is not only continuing to evolve his character, but his move set too. In Jericho’s Wrestle Kingdom 12 match in January 2018 with Kenny Omega, he hit his opponent with both the Codebreaker and the Walls of Jericho. However, for their match at Double or Nothing on May 25th, Jericho has revealed a new move in his arsenal.

In a video shared to his Instagram, Jericho can be seen training at fellow former WWE Champion Batista’s gym in Tampa, Florida. The clip shows him training with an MMA coach, as Jericho reveals he will be using a spinning elbow as an “AEW exclusive finisher”.
The move will go by the name of “The Judas Effect”, and Jericho warned not only his Double or Nothing opponent Kenny Omega about its potential damage, but also some of his other potential future opponents in the new promotion.
