A top AEW star gets a tattoo paying tribute to the rock legend David Bowie.
Besides being a world champion and first ballot hall of famer in the wrestling business, Chris Jericho has been known for having his own rock band Fozzy and being a long admirer of rock legends.
Now, it looks like Jericho has added a different look to his image that fans will be able to see on AEW Dynamite this week.
On April 17, “Le Champion” took to Instagram to reveal a brand new tattoo done by his “personal tattoo artist” and old friend, Flaco Martinez.
According to Jericho, he simply told Martinez that he wanted a tattoo in the style of David Bowie’s iconic “Aladdin Sane” era from 1973. The left arm tattoo was shown in a photo on the post. The post reads:
“Thx to the amazing @flacomartinez13 …my old friend, personal tattoo artist and a damn GENIUS…for the new ink!! I asked him for #AlladinSane era @davidbowie and this is what he created!! Just a beautiful piece of art and I’m proud to add it to the collection of Flaco masterpieces that live on my body. If you’re ever in the Virginia Beach area check him out at @studioevolvetattoo!!”
Chris Jericho is scheduled to confront Adam Cole face-to-face on this Wednesday’s April 19 edition of AEW Dynamite.
