We are saddened to report that Chris Romero, who wrestled as Chris Youngblood, has passed away at the age of 55.
Romero’s passing was announced Ricky Romero Jr on Facebook, who notified the wrestling world that Chris Romero passed away this morning in Portland OR.
The son of the legendary Ricky Romero, Chris Romero began his pro-wrestling training when he was 13 years old. He teamed with his brother Mark for a number of different promotions as The Youngbloods.
The duo held the World Wrestling Council (WWC) Tag Team Championship six times. Romero also held gold for NWA, GWF, and was a one-time WWWA Heavyweight Champion. The Youngbloods also competed for WCW in 1991, wrestling Arn Anderson and Barry Windham.
